Turkey : Containing Asian and European Heritages - Amazing Country

Turkey has an elected system for making Govt; material, unitary, lawful state with an olden civilizing legacy.

Turkey has been occupied by a variety of peoples ever since olden times.

Turkey, recognized formally as the state of Turkey is a Eurasian state situated 97% in Asia (generally in the Anatolian cape) and 3% in East Thrace in Europe. Turkey is surrounded by eight countries.

The Black Sea is to the north. The Aegean Sea to the west; The Mediterranean Sea and Cyprus are to the south; Iraq and Syria to the southeast. Armenia, Azerbaijan (the exclave of Nakhchivan) and Iran to the east; Georgia to the northeast; Greece to the west; Bulgaria to the northwest.

The Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles (which jointly form the Turkish Straits) divide the status line among East Thrace and Anatolia; they also split Europe and Asia. Turkey's rest at the junction of Europe and Asia makes it a country of major geostrategic matter.
