Diving Under Water Is Great Fun And Recreation Activity : SCUBA Diving!


 
Going under water as outing or recreation purpose is now becoming more popular in whole world. As for other games and refreshing activities like climbing rocks, driving fast, water boat, this activity also have some cares that a person should adopt and check himself before going underwater. In developed countries, they have enough knowledge and awareness that what cares should be taken before enjoying underwater recreation.



Now I will share some minor but much important points that one should keep in mind and have done full preparation if she / he want to enjoy the real fun of underwater world.


Actually there is a specific term that is “SCUBA”, which stands for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. By defining SCUBA, you almost have understand what it means.


No doubt that without re-breather equipment, no human being can manage breathing underwater, while it takes long time to go underwater in depth of more than 200 to 300 feet and than also will have to make return to dry place.


So scientists developed automatic re-breather equipment that actually divided in different parts but they all work together to manage breathing system for human.



All this process is called SCUBA, in simple words you can understand as the process of underwater exploring, underwater recreation, or going underwater for some search process or going underwater for the research work is impossible without the specific mechanism of re-breather.

Scuba diving has become an increasingly popular recreation sport. Yet be warned you do need to check with your doctor before going for it. Scuba stands for (self-contained underwater breathing apparatus) diving needs proper education, training, certification and medical clearance. 


As divers manage to go underwater, a huge quantity of nitrogen & oxygen gases is melt in the blood and tissues of body. 


On return to up or coming back to dry place, the nitrogen gas manages to leave the tissues & body. If some diver comes upward too speedy, the nitrogen gas will be vanish very quickly from the tissues and form bubbles in the bloodstream that can stop blood flow by creating blockage to critical parts and create reason of pain in the limbs and stomach. So, it is recommended to come upward slowly and don’t breath fast, prefer is breathing normally.


Rapture of the depths: it is a feeling as alcohol intoxication. It is due to breathing compressed air at depths of almost 30 meters means 100 feet. The solution is to come upward and shall if still want to stay in water then manage some lover depth than 100 feet.  


There is another problem that is common but someone specially to new divers should know about this and also they must have idea of medical theory behind the problem, it is as simple as  “pressure.” 



It can affect middle ear or face mask when getting deep in to water. This Pressure calls as Squeezes and it creates pain in your ears. The pain is caused by the difference in pressure between the air spaces of your ears and mask. 













Some more situations in which you should avoid to go underwater.

  1. Pregnancy
  2. Severe infections of the ears or respiratory tract
  3. Certain pulmonary, cardiac and gastrointestinal conditions
  4. Seizure disorders
  5. Sickle cell disease
  6. Diabetes (hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) episode underwater can be dangerous) and asthma.
  7. Hypertension or Blood pressure: If you have this problem then must consult to your doctor.
