A great gadget that used for observing time called “Watch”, it is actually a time machine which shows time by the hours, minutes and seconds. There are three small needles that moves in round position : right from top then bottom then left and then moves up, this movement occurs in smooth manner with small noise as click – click.

A new evolution comes when use of spring started in making of watch, the system of watch depends on a spring and basically there was a small knob, the keeper / user of the watch arranged to round that knob for few times and so that move was enough to run watch for at least 48 hours.
Then time passes and better development appeared with the passage of time. The earlier watches were purely mechanical and have a complete moving system inside. Then as other developments occur, the system that used to measure time replaced with more advanced technology available of that time.
Quartz was a well developed and advanced watch for that era. That watches made to run on human pulses, thus called quarts. Then after in1970, after observing great evolution in electronics, watches also got nice changes with the creation of diode and other small electronic elements. By these advancements in electronics, the electronic watch presented in market in 1970.
First watches were suitable as they used to place in pockets and whenever one wanted to see time, he/she have to bring out watch from pocket to check the time. After that, in 1920, many watch makers started to make watches that were more handy, easy to use and more advanced technically.
These watches could easily put on wrist. They feature was of that watches, they were easy to use because they were always ready to convey the time. In that era, watch makers also started to make bigger watches and that kind of big watches are still in our use as wall clock, side table watch, and office table watch. Their names define the way of their use.
We have now mechanical watches, electronic watches, watches that run on springs, watches that takes movement energy from human wrist whit it tie at wrist. A big advancement again appeared by the creation of solar cell. Now we have also a big collection of watches that observes solar energy to run. These watches have a specific system or arrangement to save solar energy in shape of tiny cell that saves electricity in it and provides energy to entire watch circuit to stay it in running condition.
